QUOTABLE™

Your Authority Built To Travel

The Problem You Can't Name

You’ve spent decades building expertise most people never reach.
Results delivered. Transformations led. Decisions that moved markets.
Your authority is earned. And yet—Rooms still resize you.
Board seats go to people who haven’t done the work.
Your peers get quoted while your thinking powers the outcome.
Opportunities arrive without your name on them.
Not because you’re unclear.
Not because you lack presence.
Not because you need to “build a brand.”
Your authority is contained.
It doesn’t move.
Your work advances the organisation,
but it doesn’t advance you.
It’s referenced inside the room,
but rarely beyond it.
Rooms don’t reward the most qualified.
They reward what’s recognisable.
Media doesn’t quote the deepest thinker.
They quote what travels.
Boards don’t appoint credibility.
They appoint what is structurally undeniable.
This isn’t about “getting visible.”
Visibility can be ignored.
Recognisability reorganises the room.
Your work should be:• referenced without you in the room• resourced without negotiation• in motion beyond the container• offered, not chasedBoard seats offered, not pitched.
Media calling you, not the other way around.
Partnerships arriving with your name already on them.
That is what QUOTABLE™ does. Not messaging.
Not personal branding.
Language as architecture.
Work referenced.
Work resourced.
Work in motion.

Why Me

I’m Rianna Scipio.For 20 years, I worked as a BBC journalist.
Not reading teleprompters. Interrogating thinking.
I interviewed world leaders, CEOs, and experts, translating their complexity into language audiences remembered, repeated, and acted upon. That was the work:
extract the insight,
distil the complexity,
articulate it so clearly it could travel.
World leaders in 90 seconds.
CEOs in two-minute segments.
Ideas that lasted long after the broadcast ended.
I later became one of the first Black women to anchor primetime current affairs at the BBC.That mattered, but not for the reason most people think.Being the only Black woman in rooms not built for me taught me this: expertise is rarely the problem. The problem is how power decides whose authority gets amplified, carried forward, and remembered.Articulation doesn’t dismantle unequal systems. It ensures your authority isn’t contained by them.I know what it’s like to have your judgment questioned by people with less experience.
I know the fatigue of over-explaining, performing, translating yourself into legibility.
Here’s what I learned:Authority isn’t granted.
It’s articulated.
The difference between being in the room and being referenced beyond it isn’t credentials.
It’s language.
When authority can be named, it travels.
When it can’t, it stays trapped inside the role.
I left the BBC on my own terms and built a global practice applying the same discipline to leaders whose authority was already earned, but not yet quotable.People quote me now because my thinking has a name. That’s what I do.I use the same process I used at the BBC—extracting insight, distilling complexity, articulating authority—and apply it to your intellectual property so your thinking can move without you having to be present. This isn’t personal branding.
It isn’t coaching.
It isn’t theory.
It’s journalism-grade articulation of authority.

The QUOTABLE™ Method

This is the process I use to make authority travel.

EXTRACT
Two deep-dive interviews where I ask the questions most people never think to ask — the ones that surface the organising patterns you’ve been operating from for years without naming. You talk. I extract the logic.
DISTIL
I take decades of expertise and compress it into a clear, signature philosophy and quotable framework.
The same discipline that turns a two-hour interview into a 90-second soundbite — applied to your entire body of work.
CODIFY
Your thinking becomes a 10–15 page QUOTABLE™ Document: your portable authority.
The framework, bios, and positioning assets that allow others to reference you accurately when you’re not in the room.
DEPLOY (Intensive only)
A dedicated implementation session where we translate the document into clear strategic use — across boards, media, speaking, and thought leadership — so opportunities no longer depend on chasing.

Why Journalism-Grade Articulation

Coaching helps you find your voice.
Journalism extracts your thinking and makes it portable.
At the BBC, I worked under constraint: taking a two-hour interview with a world leader and compressing it into 90 seconds that audiences remembered, cited, and acted on.That isn’t simplification.
It’s extraction under pressure.
Finding the insight that can travel intact.
That discipline is what I apply here.I ask questions that surface patterns you can’t see from inside your own expertise.
I distil decades of experience into language that holds.
And I articulate authority in a form others can carry into rooms you’re not in.
Coaching elicits.
Journalism extracts and compresses.
That’s the difference.

How I Applied My Own Framework (And How I'll Do It For You)

This isn’t theory. It’s applied.When I left the BBC, I had 20 years of credentials.But I wasn’t quotable.I could describe my work.
I couldn’t yet articulate my philosophy.
So I did what I’d spent two decades doing for world leaders.
I applied the discipline to myself.
I interrogated my own thinking.
Asked the questions most people avoid:
• What patterns have I actually seen?
• What principles consistently guide my decisions?
• What logic sits beneath the work I do instinctively?
I distilled 20 years into three organising truths:Authority isn’t given. It’s articulated.
Visibility without positioning creates noise.
Authority doesn’t travel if it can’t be named.
From there, my positioning became clear:I’m a former BBC journalist who spent 20 years making world leaders quotable.
Now I apply the same discipline to leaders whose authority is earned but not yet quotable.
What changed wasn’t volume or effort.
It was clarity.
My work began to move without me having to push it.
Opportunities arrived already framed.
Conversations started at a different altitude.
That’s what happens when authority can be named. And that’s the same discipline I apply to your work.

What People Say About Working With Me

“I wanted to transition from medical practice into spiritual education, but I was concerned about credibility. Rianna helped me articulate an organising principle that could hold both. She named it ‘Spirituality Backed by Science’ and clarified my positioning so precisely that I now offer premium services without compromising either domain. I’ve since been invited to keynote at a major conference in Nigeria.”
— Dr Olubunmi Aboaba, Physician, Founder of "Spirituality Backed by Science"

“Rianna helped us identify what truly differentiates us in the travel and tourism sector, and how to package it in a way the market could immediately understand and value. The shift was structural, not cosmetic. Our books are now full.”
— Nkateko Khosa, CEO, Hoyohoyo Hotels & Resorts, South Africa

What Becomes Possible When You're QUOTABLE™

When your authority can be named, it no longer depends on proximity. In the months after leaders deploy their framework, this is what often changes:Board invitations shift
They’re no longer chasing seats. They’re being considered because their authority stands out and can be referenced clearly.
Media begins to seek them out
Journalists know exactly how to position them. They become a reliable point of reference, not an optional voice.
Speaking opportunities arrive with intent
Instead of pitching, they’re invited into conversations already framed around their ideas.
Books become inevitable
The framework clarifies the argument. The book stops being a “someday” idea and becomes the natural next expression of the work.
Strategic partnerships form
The right people recognise alignment quickly. Conversations start at substance, not surface.
Advisory roles open up
Organisations seek their judgement, not just their labour.
Post-executive paths crystallise
The next phase stops feeling vague. Boards, authorship, advisory, and speaking align around a coherent centre.
Performance drops away
Less code-switching. Less over-explaining. Less proving.
Their authority is understood before they speak.
This isn’t about visibility.
It’s about being referenced.
That’s what changes when you’re QUOTABLE™.

What QUOTABLE™ Isn't

This isn’t personal branding coaching
I don’t teach you how to “build a brand.”
I extract your thinking and articulate it with journalism-grade precision.
You show up for the sessions. I do the heavy lifting.
This isn’t ghostwriting
I don’t write content for you to publish under your name.
I distil your intellectual property into a framework you own.
This is a legacy asset, not content designed to disappear.
This isn’t PR
I don’t pitch you to journalists.
I articulate your authority so clearly that journalists know how to position you without being told.

What QUOTABLE™ Is

Journalism-grade articulation of your genius — so your authority is referenced without you having to push it.I use the same discipline I applied at the BBC for two decades:• Extract the insights embedded in how you already think and decide
• Distil decades of experience into a clear, quotable philosophy
• Articulate it precisely enough that others can reference you with confidence
That's QUOTABLE™.

Why This Investment?

You’re not paying for a document. You’re paying for a discipline. For twenty years at the BBC, my job was to take complex thinking and compress it into language that could be remembered, cited, and trusted — under pressure, on deadline, and in public.World leaders in ninety seconds.
CEOs in two-minute segments.
Ideas that had to survive scrutiny the moment they left the room.
That discipline cannot be learned in a weekend.
It’s built over decades of interrogation, editing, and consequence.
This work applies that same discipline to your intellectual property — not as a soundbite, but as a framework you will use for years. What you’re actually investing in1. Compression, not creation
This isn’t about inventing a persona or manufacturing insight.
It’s about distilling decades of lived expertise into language precise enough to hold.
Most people spend years circling what they stand for.
This work resolves it.
2. Applied authorship
This is not coaching.
You are not being taught how to do this yourself.
You bring the experience.
I interrogate, extract, write, and refine.
3. A long-life asset
The output isn’t content.
It’s a reference point.
Something that anchors board conversations, book proposals, advisory roles, and speaking invitations — not once, but repeatedly, over time.4. Optional upside, not promised outcomes
When authority is articulated clearly, opportunity changes shape.
Boards know how to place you.
Media knows how to quote you.
Institutions know what they’re engaging.
What comes next depends on how and where you deploy the work.
This process ensures you’re no longer starting from ambiguity.
The question isn’t whether the document is worth the fee.The question is what it would cost to keep letting your authority remain diffuse, misread, or trapped inside roles that don’t carry it forward.

Who This Is For

• You’re a Black executive with 20+ years of earned expertise
• You operate at VP, SVP, or C-suite level
• You’re accomplished, but your authority isn’t always recognised on its own terms
• You’re done performing, code-switching, or over-explaining to be taken seriously
• You want your thinking articulated clearly enough to support boards, media, speaking, and partnerships
• You’re thinking seriously about legacy, not just the next role
This work assumes depth. It’s not introductory.

Who This Is NOT For

This work is not a fit if:• You’re early in your career and still building foundational credibility
• You’re looking for tactical guidance or execution support (posting schedules, content prompts, growth hacks)
• You’re not ready for your thinking to be clearly articulated and publicly referenceable
• You’re seeking exploration rather than resolution

When Authority Isn’t Articulated

Board seats go to leaders whose thinking is easier to explain to other board members.
Media quotes go to voices already framed as experts — not because they know more, but because their perspective has a name.
Speaking and advisory opportunities circulate among people who are easy to reference.
This isn't conspiracy. It's clarity favouring those who have it.
Over time:
You keep doing excellent work. You keep being respected inside the room. But your authority doesn't travel beyond it.
Your expertise stays situational. Each new role resets the context. Each transition requires re-explanation.
Nothing is wrong. But nothing compounds.

The Alternative

When authority is articulated clearly, it stops relying on explanation.Your thinking becomes referenceable.
Your contribution accumulates.
Your work starts to move ahead of you.
Boards know how to place you.
Editors know how to quote you.
Institutions know what engaging you means.
Not because you chased visibility —
but because your authority could be carried intact.
This isn’t urgency.
It’s orientation.

Questions You Might Have

“What if I do this and nothing happens?”That’s a fair question.I can’t guarantee invitations, features, or deals. No one credible can. What I do is articulate your authority with enough precision that others know how to place you — on boards, in media, in conversations that matter. What happens next depends on how and where you deploy the work.
This process removes ambiguity. It doesn’t replace agency.
“How is this different from hiring a ghostwriter?”A ghostwriter produces content.
This work produces infrastructure.
I don’t write posts for you to publish.
I distil your intellectual property into a framework you own — one that can anchor books, boards, speaking, and advisory work over time.
This isn’t content.
It’s authorship.
“Can’t I figure this out myself?”Possibly — over years. Most people can’t articulate their own organising logic because they’re too close to it. That’s why this work is interview-led.My role is to interrogate your thinking, extract the patterns, and articulate what’s been implicit all along. That compression is the work.“What if my expertise isn’t unique enough?”This is common — and almost always inaccurate. What differentiates senior leaders isn’t novelty.
It’s pattern recognition.
The principles you apply instinctively, the judgments you make under pressure, the logic beneath your decisions — that’s the material. My job is to make it legible.“What if I’m not ready to be highly visible?”QUOTABLE™ is not about volume or constant presence. It’s about clarity. You don’t need to post daily or build an audience.
You need language that allows others to reference you accurately when opportunities arise.
If you’re not ready for that, this isn’t the right moment.“When do I receive the QUOTABLE™ Document?”After all interview sessions are complete, revisions are finalised, and full payment has been received.Drafts are reviewed verbally during live sessions.
Written materials are released only once payment is complete.
Typical timelines:
• Foundation: 6–8 weeks
• Intensive: 8–10 weeks
“Do you offer refunds?”No.Once your thinking has been articulated, it can’t be returned.
You own the intellectual property outright.
What I do offer is selectivity. This work begins with a diagnostic conversation. If I don’t believe the process will serve you, I’ll say so before any commitment is made.

Imagine This

You’re no longer explaining your background in every room.Board conversations happen with you already in mind.
Not because you chased them — because your authority is easy to reference.
A publisher reaches out, not to ask if you have a book, but to ask how you’d frame it.
Your thinking already reads like an argument.
Journalists know how to position you.
You’re not “a voice.” You’re the reference point for a specific idea.
Speaking invitations arrive already shaped around your work.
You’re not submitting proposals. You’re being invited into conversations that match your thinking.
Advisory roles open through alignment, not networking.
The work speaks ahead of you.
None of this requires you to get louder.
None of it depends on performance.
It happens when your authority is articulated clearly enough to move without you. That’s what being QUOTABLE™ changes. Not visibility.
Referencing.

Here's The Truth

You don’t need more credentials.
You don’t need more experience.
You don’t need to work harder.
You need to be QUOTABLE™.I spent twenty years at the BBC making world leaders quotable.
Now I apply that same discipline to Black executives whose authority is already earned.

Next Steps

Begin with a QUOTABLE™ Assessment

This is a brief diagnostic conversation to assess fit.If QUOTABLE™ is appropriate at this stage, I’ll clarify how it would apply to your work.If it isn’t, I’ll say so directly.

Not Ready to Proceed?

Begin with the Quotability Audit. This is the same short diagnostic I use to assess whether someone is credentialed or quotable — offered here as a self-guided entry point. It includes:• A 5-minute assessment drawn directly from my client work
• The three-word test that reveals whether your authority is distinct
• The Credentialed vs. Quotable framework
• A 7-day email series on articulating your thinking with precision
This is not a funnel.
It’s a filter.
You’re welcome to use it whether or not you ever work with me.

The Choice Is Clarity

Every year authority goes unarticulated, it stays contained.Board seats are filled by people whose thinking is easier to reference.
Books are commissioned from those with a clear framework.
Speaking and advisory opportunities circulate around those whose authority is already legible.
Not because they’re more capable.
Because they’re easier to place.
You can continue refining credentials and hoping recognition catches up.Or you can take 60–90 days to articulate the authority you’ve already earned — and let it compound over time.

If you’re not moving forward yet, begin with the Quotability Audit. It’s the same diagnostic I use in client work, offered as a self-guided entry point.
